Dipayan Bose is a self-taught documentary photographer, photojournalist, and educator. He was a photography lecturer at ICAT Design & Media College, Chennai & Assistant Professor cum course coordinator at AAFT University, Raipur for more than 3 years. He has completed his M.A. (Mass Communication & Journalism) from Alagappa University with first-class marks. He has extensive experience as a contributing freelance photojournalist in SOPA images, NurPhoto & Zuma Press since 2019. Currently, he is working as a Visual Journalist at the Anadolu Agency, covering Major political events, strikes, breaking news, sports, cultural events, international shows, business, entertainment, etc.
According to him, Documenting human life, social issues, and environmental stories through photojournalism is not only a documentation process but also its proof of a time or incident. So it’s a responsibility to keep the truth through the lens for future reference. As a photographer, he always believed in creativity rather than gears. According to the man himself, " Every place, every human being is made of a thousand stories, it's my job as a photographer to document them as much as I can and let the world know about their existence."
